Another Vancouver post today! I can’t believe it’s already been over a month since I was there. Vancouver is such a beautiful city. There’s just so much GREEN. And coming from California, that’s really something special, haha.
The VanDusen Botanical Garden that I’m featuring today is the prettiest garden I have ever seen. I made the mistake of budgeting only 1-2 hours to see this place. But if you guys ever get to go, I’d recommend either a whole morning or a whole afternoon. It’s a massive garden and there’s so much to see! But they have cafes and restaurants in the garden, so if you get hungry while strolling around, you’ll have food options. There are also benches scattered all over the garden so if you get tired (or if you find a pretty view that you want to enjoy for a while), feel free to take a sit for as long as you want. The garden is huge, and it wasn’t crowded at all when I went on a weekday, so it felt like I had the whole place to myself. And of course…it was the perfect place for photography 🙂
Something about this place will just put you at ease. The garden is calming, relaxing, refreshing, and inspiring–all at the same time. It’s places like these that continue to remind us of how delicate and beautiful nature can be, and how we too often take it for granted.
