Today, I wanted to share a super cute and fun snack I made with a friend a while back. But before I get into that, just wanted to remind those of you who haven’t entered my Arbonne giveaway yet, you have less than a week to do so if you’re still interested! (The lip conditioners in the prize pack look amazing, btw).
Anyway, back to the cupcakes. These are super easy to make. A tad bit messy, but easy and fun. It’s a fun dessert to make with friends for the upcoming holiday season. I was pretty lazy when I made these…everything was pretty much store bought, and it was more of a decorating session than a baking session. Nothing ever went into the oven, actually. You’ll just need some muffins, frosting, Pirouette cookies, Milano cookies, and whatever other decorative toppings you feel like using. Target/Safeway have a bunch of candy stickers (the bows and the glasses you’ll in the pictures below), and they’re not that expensive either.
The hardest part for us was just cutting the Pirouette cookies. DO NOT try to break them in half. They will crumble. I ended up using a sharp knife to cut it down the middle. And you can adjust the length depending on how high/low you want the heel to be.
We had a lot of leftover ingredients, which turned into:
All in all, this was a super fun snack/dessert to make, especially for those of you who like decorating but not so much baking. The cupcakes are also a little bit hard to transport in their finished form, so just be careful when you’re moving them around. But they tasted delicious! And that’s what really matters 🙂
XOXO,
