Despite growing up in NorCal, I never grew to love SF. Maybe it’s still a work in progress, but after spending 4 years in LA, it’s definitely going to be a hard sell. The last time I visited SF, it was super foggy. The beach was cold, and the view, although beautiful in its own way, was pretty…not beachy. In a way, I guess it was refreshing. There’s definitely a colder and quieter vibe to the beaches up here, especially early morning with all of the fog.
(The wave I’m looking at in the picture above destroyed me, haha.) I was drenched for the rest of the morning. Thank god my flip flops pulled through and I didn’t slide off the rocks! ANYWAY. Not really your typical beach day, I know. But if you’re looking for a quiet place to walk around and reflect on life, there’s no better place to do so. I think that’s why I’ve grown more fond of these pictures in the past few days (let’s just say I had a rough weekend). They LOOK like what I’m feeling. And I guess that’s okay, because the fog eventually lifts 🙂
XOXO,
Very glad you didn’t get swept off!!!

Thank you!
I go to SF every year- about to go in a week for a week and a half again- and I can totally agree with the fickleness of weather. It can get colder than NYC at times! But, I really do enjoy walking around during the brighter days. Also, the surrounding area is very pretty!
